This one of a kind, button eyed art doll measures 22cm (approximately 8.5 inches) from head to toe. She is made from silver grey quilting cotton, stuffed with polyester fibre, and jointed at the shoulders, elbows, wrists and knees with antique silver effect, metal beads. Birdie's face has been hand painted in archival quality ink and artists’ coloured pencil for a long lasting finish. She has dark grey resin buttons for eyes. The hair is made from flax (linen) fibre in lilac and black, finished with a lace bow and enamelled heart hair clip. Her shoes are hand painted in acrylics. Birdie wears a black cotton a-line dress and bloomers, trimmed with white lace and purple buttons. A string of faux pearls completes her outfit.

As with all Spyderthread products, Birdie Knotweed is vegan friendly. She is signed, numbered and dated by the artist, and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. Please note that this doll is a collectable art doll, for display only. She is not a toy and should not be given to a child under the age of 14 years.
